I feel like the name was just dumbed down and shortened for marketing. I get that both names have Alfa history, but the word veloce is so generic and overused. It makes me think bicycles and coffee shops. I’m losing interest in this car fast and the angle in that pic isn't helping either.

Hmmm...unfortunate, but as long as they are leaving QV as a trim level for their properly quick cars, I’m OK with it I think.
A lot of historic Alfas used the ‘Veloce’ trim name, so it does have history as well....just not as much as QV, so I DO see where you’re coming from!
I don’t care if it’s becoming an outdated platform nowadays, I would still wish Giuliettas were sold here so I could DD one....one of my dream hatchbacks! (I’m a hatchback guy...more practical! :) )
